You don’t have to carry it alone.

Maybe mornings feel chaotic before anyone ever gets out the door. Maybe homework, screentime and transitions become battles on a daily basis. Maybe you just want to stay calm, even when everyone else is swirling.

You’ve tried many things. Some of it might help, and some of it may not have worked out the way you hoped. But you’re not a parent who gives up easily.

Sanity School® gives you a clear way to understand the patterns beneath your daily struggles, so you can choose what to do next, calmly and with confidence.

Choose your level of support

What parents are saying

The shift is significant, because the tools are practical.

Parents tell us they feel more hopeful because they have a better understanding
of what is happening and clear ways to respond differently.

The class has helped to validate the things that we are doing right based on the needs of our family. It has increased our confidence and created greater peace in our home.
Sanity School® parent
I have changed my perspective from desperation to inspiration by investing in our relationships, and recognizing the internal judgments each of my girls are making of themselves.
Sanity School® parent
My son of 15 is talking to me again, and he is even trying to be nice to me. This is amazing. Thank you so much for your guidance and support.
Sanity School® parent

Your family is on your own path. The goal is not a perfect home, a perfect child, or perfect parenting.
It is better understanding, enhanced confidence, and more room for connection.

Why this approach is different

Sanity School® isn’t just theory.
It’s practical, usable tools, and guidance to help you practice them in real life.

You don’t need more information.
You want to be able to use it when it matters.

It starts with shifting your perspective

Begin to understand what your child may be communicating through their behavior, what is and isn’t in their control, and what they need from you next.

It is built for real life

A coaching-style approach gives you effective language, practical tools, and clear, accessible guidance to pause, calm things down, and respond better in the exact moments that family life gets complicated.

It helps you practice

You don’t have to figure this out alone. Choose Plus or Premium for community, interactive support, and live guidance to understand what works for your family, so you can keep doing it.

Sanity School® offers real guidance for your family,
developed by real parents who have been there.

Questions? We’ve got you.

A few practical details before you choose your support option.

My child has not been diagnosed with anything. Will this still help me?

Absolutely! We welcome parents of what we like to call “complex” kids, children, teens or young adults who struggle with any aspect of life, including learning, behavior, social skills, or emotion management.

An underlying explanation for your child's challenges may be diagnosed, suspected, or not. This program is really designed to provide a framework for whatever a family is struggling with, regardless of diagnosis. It's focused on understanding the challenges facing children, teens and young adults and how to approach them with a method that is effective and empowering. And it can be used by parents of all kids, at any age.

Of course, if ADHD, anxiety, autism, LDs, depression, or other executive function challenges are suspected or diagnosed, this program is designed to help you with all challenges that may come from a wide range of neurodiversity. Bottom line: if you have a “complex” kid, you probably know what we mean, and this is definitely for you.

What ages is this helpful for?

Short answer: parents of kids 4 to 40.

Longer answer: The coach-approach offers strategies for improving communication and fostering self-reliance (and so much more!). Whether you have younger children (ages 4-12), teenagers (ages 13-18), or young adults (ages 19-40) (yes, 40!), you will learn clear skills and practice using tools to improve communication, shift from directing to collaborating, and foster increasing independence, appropriate to your child’s age and stage of development.

Everything we do is designed for all parents of complex kids at any age or stage. The earlier you start, the easier the change will be. And truly, it's never too late to improve the dynamic and your relationship (we promise!).

So if you're parenting younger kids, start now! And if you're parenting older kids, we assure you, it's not too late.

Is this program right for me if I think I might have ADHD, anxiety, or autism, too?

Absolutely. In fact, you may find it especially valuable. Many parents in our community are in the process of recognising or exploring their own neurodivergence for the first time. These tools give you frameworks for supporting your kids, and supporting yourself.

Also, Sanity School® was created by a neurodivergent parent who understands the experience from the inside.

The tools you'll learn here will work for your brain as much as for your child's. And our Care Team can help you use the program in a way that fits how you think and learn.

Why does this program focus on me rather than my child?

Because you are the most direct path to changing what happens in your home.

Medical research, which we can reinforce with decades of our own experience, shows that children with complex challenges make the most progress when the adults around them understand what’s going on, and adapt how they respond accordingly.

Many parents search for solutions for their kids without realizing that they themselves are part of the solution! That’s why Sanity School® focuses on you, giving you the support and guidance to apply what you already know, in the real moments of your challenging days. When you have the right resources to support, encourage, and assist, your child responds differently. And it happens faster than you might expect.

Who are Elaine and Diane?

Co-founders of ImpactParents.com. Co-creators of Sanity School®. Parenting with Impact podcast hosts. Authors of Parenting ADHD Now! Easy Intervention Strategies to Empower Kids with ADHD and The Essential Guide to Raising Complex Kids with ADHD, Anxiety and More. 2025 Hall of Fame Award recipients from CHADD (Children and Adults with ADHD).

Elaine Taylor-Klaus, MCC and Diane Dempster, PCC are master and professional certified coaches, respectively. They're the mothers of 6 kids between them with ADHD, anxiety, learning challenges, autism, and related challenges.

When their kids were younger, the kind of support that would have helped them was not available. Once they discovered the benefits of coaching, their parenting improved, and it inspired them to co-found ImpactADHD®, and ultimately expand into ImpactParents. They strongly believe that no parent should go through what they went through alone, not when they know they can do something to help.

Do I need to begin with Self-Paced?

No. You can choose whichever option sounds like it will fit your family and your learning style best. Every option includes the Sanity School® foundation, and the additional options simply add more resources, accountability, digital support, community, and live guidance.

Why is Option 3 so much more expensive?

Option 3 includes 4 live hours with professional guidance each month. It is for parents who want live, interactive guidance and support to implement the information they’re learning.

Twice a month, you’ll meet in a small group for 60 minutes with a professional, certified coach and other parents of similar-aged kids. You’ll take aim on specific challenge your family is facing, and leave with guidance and a plan for action. In addition, twice a month you can attend larger group Office Hours for Q&A and laser-coaching, either for yourself or another member of the community.

That means you get live time with experienced coaches, a small group setting to address your specific challenges, a larger community setting for trouble-shooting and support, and consistent guidance for applying the coach-approach frameworks to the realities of your family life. For many parents, the value is not only in what they learn, it’s in being able to receive guidance when going through a challenging phase, stay connected to a group of parents that understands, and practice (or prepare) before the next challenge comes.

Option 3 is not about more content. It is about choosing more access, more coaching, and more structure. If that is not what you need right now, another option may be a better fit. You can start where you are and upgrade later if more live support would be helpful.

Can I change my support option later?

Yes. Start with the option that fits now. If you decide you want more support later, or need less support as your kids grow and things start to improve, you can upgrade or shift without starting over.

Can I cancel a monthly membership?

Yes. Every monthly membership can be canceled at any time. We want you to choose the support that works for your family, not feel locked into something that does not.

You are closer than you think.

Choose a support option that helps you take the next useful step,
with more clarity and less pressure.
