It was hard, frustrating, lonely and terrifying.
I struggled to navigate my children’s multiple diagnoses, including ADHD, anxiety, autism (but we didn't know that then!), and learning disabilities, not to mention severe allergies and auto-immune disorders. As other children reached milestones, my kids had therapy sessions and school changes.
I was diagnosed with my own attention and learning issues around 40. Suddenly, my whole life made sense! While working with a coach, I realized that proper support and small changes actually make a big impact.
This led me to believe my children could thrive. My perspective shifted from fear to hope. I started approaching parenting with confidence and optimism. Parenting became manageable and my family started working together like a team.
Inspired by how coaching permanently transformed my life, I pursued coaching certification. I grew to take the professionalism of my industry very seriously, and continued on to become a Master Certified Coach, which is still a rather rare achievement.
I am committed to make sure that no parent has to go through what I went through alone those first ten years. Or that no one else's child has to go through what my kids, or my husband, or my brother, or I went through as children before we were understood.
Oh, and one more thing. I have been married to the same man for more than 32 years, but my husband's ADHD was not well-identified or treated in our early years together. After I became a coach, pretty soon, my husband joined the adventure. Now we're both Master Certified Coaches, and continue to manage our complex issues and co-parent our complex young adults ... collaboratively, together.

My life took a challenging turn when I began raising two complex children and managing a marriage with my ADHD husband.
Initially, I approached my family's challenges like any work project - with willpower and hard work. I became “Super Mom.” This worked for a while, but it soon left me short-tempered, stressed, and resentful.
Through coaching, I experienced a turning point. I realized that helping my family started with helping myself. I redefined "Super Mom" to include honoring my own needs and treating myself with compassion.
My perspective shifted dramatically. I began to see things with more clarity, and more effectively empowered my family. I learned to solve problems with support rather than judgment, and to set realistic goals.
Inspired by my personal transformation, I pursued a coaching career. I am dedicated to empowering other parents on similar journeys, providing the support and guidance I once needed myself.
